Correspondence
Designation: Certified Aromatherapist in the United States. Certified Aromatologist in Canada.
This is an in depth certified course that focuses on Aromatherapy, its principles/uses, theory/practice and anatomy/physiology in relation to Aromatherapy. You will enjoy reading the over 200 pages this course offers.
To ensure you retain the material that you have learned in this course, we have designed an assignment for you to complete after each lesson. You will then submit, by email each assignment which will be marked and then returned to you. Successful completion includes passing the exam and completing the 30 case studies (outlined in the course material). Once everything is successfully completed, a certificate will be granted.
Since the Academy's doors opened in 1994, hundreds of graduates have enjoyed learning Aromatherapy from the comfort of their home. Now is your opportunity to fulfill your dreams to learn Aromatherapy at your own convenience. After completing the correspondence course, you can then enroll in the practicum, Aromatherapy Massage part of the program if you so choose.
In Class
Designation: Certified Aromatherapist
This certified course entails 200 hours of distinguished training offered by the Academy of Aromatherapy. Specific association standards will be met and complied. This course focuses on Holistic Aromatherapy encompassing body, mind and spirit. Nutrition, Reflexology, Herbology, Distance Healing, Reiki, Bach Flowers, Homeopathy and other holistic health modalities will be explored in conjunction to its use in Aromatherapy.
Kal gently interweaves the principles of energy healing and spirituality into this vast program. A certificate from the Academy of Aromatherapy will be granted after passing these established requirements: theory exam, practical exam and 30 case studies. Application can be made to the American Alliance of Aromatherapy and/or Canadian Federation of Aromatherapy after receiving certificate.
This is a practical program that requires in-class instruction. A major portion of the course involves learning European Lymphatic Massage. Kal may travel to certain locales to teach this course. Separate (non-certificate) bodywork can be taught without the theoretical aspect. Inquire for details.
