Laser machine have been used for more than 30 years to cut and engrave various materials.

Most frequent application is laser cutting of acrylic for logos, lettering etc.

Another common application is to do a surface engraving in plastic and wood of intricate pictures.

At Plixo, we have leveraged our industrial and engineering experience to extend these and built a laser machine dedicated to the needs of the decoration and signage industry.

With the addition of gas assist, filtering, industrial compressor & exhaust, dedicated software add-ons, a range of lenses, proprietary techniques and how to knowledge, we are able to do things that others will just tell you "Cannot lah!".

• laser cut of acrylic with premounted sticker, either solid colour, silver, gold or even printed to match your colours, gradient and design !
• perfect laser cut of 1/2" P.U. [polyurethane] foam
• sharp and deep solid wood laser engraving: up to 5mm depth in one pass!
• ultra fast (140mm/s) and accurate foam boards cuts, ideal for life-size standees
• laser cut of 3D puzzles & structures in plywood, balsa, acrylic, cardboard

And all these for parts up to 4ft x 12ft in size !

• Plywood: intricate laser cut of shapes, up to 9mm thick
• Solid wood: wood laser engraving up to 5mm deep at 50mm2/s, wood laser cutting up to 6mm thick for inlays.
• MDF (medium density fibreboard): laser cut up to 9mm thick
• Laminate/Formica: laser cut intricate shape at 25mm/s
