William Pang, 59 is an experienced and certified handwriting expert. Having established a respectable reputation in the niche field of handwriting analysis, William has been called on increasingly to examine disputed contracts and fraudulent documents.
He has been consulted and has contributed articles to major publications, newspaper and has made several appearances on television and radio programmes. William has examined more than 7500 written specimens, and hundreds of groups of handwriting written under different conditions such as fast, slow and medium speed, in both the normal and disguised hands.
William has studied handwriting analysis since 1976 with a Swiss handwriting expert followed by several years of apprenticeship. He regularly upgrades his professional knowledge through the study of numerous textbooks on the subject, newsletters, publications and information provided by the American College of Forensic Examiners, American Board of Forensic Evidence, and National Association of Document Examiners to his library to keep abreast of developments.
In May 2002 he completed a forensic document examination workshop on expertise development held at Canberra Institute of Technology organized by NIFS (National Institute of Forensic Science (Australia) and SMANZFL (New Zealand).
He also completed a Forensic workshop conducted by Dr. Bryan Found from La Trobe University & Victoria Forensic Lab.
During his training he received guidance from leading Australian forensic document examiners. William makes visits to forensic laboratories in Australia (2002, 2003 & 2004) to keep ahead of development in document examination.
From 2004 - 2005 he examined more than 1400 handwriting and signatures for one of Singapore's major bank.
