Yanqing's Shanghai Kitchen

Yanqing's Shanghai Kitchen - named after one of the friends, former TV host Wang Yanqing -
which opened early last year.

1st outlet was located at Chijmes, Victoria St while 2nd is located at Bukit Timah Road.

This small 60 seater eatery serves traditional Shanghainese cuisine.

Examples include Ningbo drunken raw crab ($36), sauteed prawns with longjing tea leaves ($28) and the wonderfully addictive sesame-covered pancake with meat floss ($8).

They are prepared by four Shanghainese chefs, three of whom have worked in restaurants in popular dining hub Xintiandi.
