Does any of the following sound like you?

·
View yourself as unlovable, unworthy and incompetent
·         Highly sensitive to peoples’ remarks about you
·         Strong need for others’ approval
·         Highly fearful of making mistakes and looking foolish
·         Fear of rejection
·         Overly critical of self
·         Inability to take constructive criticism
·         Perfectionism
·         Overreact to situations
·         Cannot bear to look at yourself in the mirror
·         Inability to know who and when to trust, thus frequently feels betrayed
·         Frequently depressed
·         Easily discouraged
·         Inability to communicate with others and form relationships
·         Have obsessive compulsive and addictive behaviors

If you’ve checked ‘Yes’ to any of the above, there is a good chance that you have low self- esteem (LSE).

Low self-esteem is a serious disorder that affects millions of people--both men and women--destroying their relationships, paralyzing them with fear, and creating lives that will never reach their full potential, leaving them off balanced, needy, and unfulfilled.
The good news is, you CAN overcome LSE and lead successful lives with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT for short, is a form of ‘psychological acupressure” without needles. Basically it relieves symptoms of fear, anxiety, anger and other negative emotional states by tapping or rubbing on various meridian points on the body while focusing on the problem.
Tapping these specific points on our skin (while focusing on a negative self belief) will send electrochemical signals to our brain, altering the brain chemistry in the amygdala (the part of the brain that controls our emotions) and other parts of the brain. When brain chemistry is altered, thought patterns and behavior HAS to change – and ALWAYS for the better.
EFT has its roots in ancient Chinese medicine and the modern science of Applied Kinesiology.
EFT is gentle, rapid and so profoundly simple that even a young child can easily learn it.
EFT is an approach to healing that has gained attention from medical professionals and laypersons all over the world and often gets results when nothing else has worked.

What Happens During An EFT Therapy Session?
You will be asked to evaluate the intensity of the emotion you are feeling on a scale of 0 (gone) to 10 (as high as it gets). Then, you are shown how to activate specific acupuncture points on the face and body, as you focus on the issue. By gently tapping on these points, you will balance your energy system in relation to the negative feeling and be free of the problem that has been plaguing you.

The Advantage of Working With A Therapist
An EFT practitioner will be able to help you with memories and emotions that you might not be able to access on your own. Some issues are too big, too complex, to handle yourself.

While the same mechanical recipe is used for all ailments, the APPROACHES to the various problems can differ widely. This is where personal sessions with an experienced EFT Practitioner come in - there is an “art of delivery” which is necessary for complicated cases and this involves finding core issues and aspects as well as appropriate reframing and other artistic uses of this flexible tool.

EFT Practitioners develop their own unique approaches and subtle variations on the foundational technique as taught by the Founder, Gary Craig, and will make these variations clear when working with you. They use questions, rapport, reframing, testing and many other skills to ensure that your healing journey is as safe, complete and tearless as possible.

How Long Does A Session Last?
A session lasts takes between 1 to 1 ½ hours to complete.

How Many Sessions Do You Require?
The number of sessions will always be different for each person as everyone’s situation is unique. While some people experience amazing results in just one session most people take a few more. The number of sessions is determined more by the complexity of the problem rather than the severity.
