5. Use the function to share the question with your friends on Facebook, Twitter and more!
6. Once someone has answered your question, you can select the Best Answer or leave it to the community

Mutual Help Q&A Community Guidelines

Here are some guidelines to help you get started in the Mutual Help Community:

Ask clearly while keeping it short and to the point to allow others to understand your question with ease

Selecting right category is important to highlight your question to the right audience

Share knowledge based on your expertise, experience or opinions. Someone could really use your contribution to the community

Be polite and show respect to others, so others will also treat you the same

Be helpful and rate a fantastic answer as the Best Answer when you come across one

Be responsible and not make false claims or giving advice that might cause harm to others

Posting of mean or obscene remarks is not welcome in Mutual Help Q&A. If in doubt, just remember not to post anything you would not say it out loud

Keep hateful remarks out of Mutual Help Q&A. We should be helping one another through the sharing of knowledge and not venting frustrations or ranting about issues.

Do not violate the law. Posting of any unlawful content or infringement of copyright issues is strictly prohibited.

About Mutual Help Q&A 

Mutual Help Q&A is a newly launched service introduced by 88DB.com. We aim at providing an interactive platform that allows users to exchange their knowledge and wisdoms in various categories to create a reciprocal virtual community. Users are encouraged to perform a dual role: to ask questions about whatever problems or trivia they come across in life and to answer others’ questions riding on your own experience and expertise.

MyQ&A provides the ultimate record of all your questions and answers with useful function support. Users can simply make use of your existing 88DB account to log in. If you are new to 88DB, please register. After log in, users can amend your profile photo and check accumulated points, levels, strength, my answer and my helpers.

1. Profile Image:
You can upload your profile photo through My88DB.

2. Point System:
Users can gain points if they ask question, provide answers or their answers being rated positively. Through an accumulation of ratings, users can level up and gained their expertise.

3. Level & Strength:
Levels of expertise can be changed through questions, answers and rating. The levels are: Pupil, Middle-school Student and Graduate. Those top two categories that users gained the highest points will be displayed as their strength.

4. My Questions:
Record all questions being asked by users with total number of answers and date of publishing.

5. My Answers:
Record all answers being replied by users with date of publishing.

6. My Helpers:
If you find any user that provide nice and helpful answers, you can add the user as your helpers. And through this "My Helper" section, you can handily follow helper’s latest answers.

You can also visit the “Expert Ranking” section and add them as helpers in their profile pages.

7. Question Alert:
Feel free to subscribe to any categories that you are interested to enrich your knowledge.

How to Start

Users can check the latest questions in the Mutual Help Q&A Index Page with those "Hot Categories" listed. You can also select by category that interest you in left “All Categories” navigation menu.

1. Hot Questions:
Users can check those questions with most people viewed in “Hot Questions” then simply share your thought if any.

2. Rate Answers:
User can review the answers from “Rate for the Best Answer” then give your ratings according to their own experience and knowledge. Each user can only rate the same answer once and the answer with the most positive rating will become the best answer.

Users can seek for helps and advices from 88DB members by simply click the “Ask” tab and raise questions.

1. Category:
Please check the category/sub-category that is relevant to your question.

2. Title & Content:
Summarize your question in an easy-to-understand and succinct sentence within 50 characters. Next, try to explain your question in details such as kind of solution wanted or timeline with not less than 20 words.

3. Notification:
User can check if they want to receive notification email when the question is being answered (Recommended).

4. Submit Question:
Finally click “Ask Question” button to submit your question. Please be reminded to read through our Rules of Removal before start to avoid any violation.

Users can select and view full question details then simply click “I can Answer” to provide suggested solution. Again, please be reminded to read through our Rules of Removal before start to avoid any violation.

Please read others answers (if any) before your give yours and be succinct to the point. Try to provide the source or reference to avoid infringement of copyright.

2. Rating:
After reading through the questions and answers, users can rate the answers according to their own experience and knowledge. The ratings will then become a useful reference for other users. Each user can only rate the same answer once and the answer with the most positive rating will become the best answer.

Please state clearly the source if the content of answer is cited from other websites, articles or original works.

88DB.com reserves the final right of deleting all content which do not meet out pre-agreed standard. We shall instantly delete any content that violate our rules without prior notice, warning or explanation, and penalize users as in point deduction, terminating the account, prohibiting the use of Help Center or any other 88DB.com services

4. To post or ask for how to use or trading of illegal products. E.g. ask how to make a nuclear bomb
5. To post or ask for information or photo that involves sexual, indecent or obscene content. E.g. Ask for details about sexual organs
6. Content about sex or related information,such as providing contact for sexual services
7. Post sensible photos that arouse negative feelings. E.g. photos of dead body or ghosts
8. Inappropriate methods in winning points and getting upgraded. E.g. register more than one account or to post questions and answers by controlling two accounts.
9. To affect or stop level up maliciously. E.g. To avoid rating the best answer of other users.
10. Use of foul languages or with similar pronunciation/word form to achieve the purpose
11. Personal Attack or dissemination of rumor to provoke or mislead other users.. E.g. To fan up users against certain company, website, organization or person, or to publish any content to provoke, condemn, insult or attach anyone which result in the destruction of fame/ credibility; To spread out false or unconfirmed news; To instruct or share methods of suicide or self-destruction.
12. To ask or answer incompletely or with content that does not qualified. Users cannot ask or answer the same or similar content more than once. Or their question title and content should not be contradictory which discourage other users from giving correct answers; Or incomplete answers which hard to understand the meaning.
