Neumind

Neumind, revolves around the training of the heart, and stretches out towards the balanced development of both hemispheres of the child's brain in an environment that is filled with love, joy and laughter. 

Each child is a unique individual with strengths, weaknesses, aptitudes, interests and capabilities. At Neumind, our purpose is to identify a student's personal strengths and skills so that the student will gain a strong understanding of self and use that knowledge to strengthen their learning. 

We provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their unique intelligence, whether that be reading, drawing, leading a group or understanding differences. Instruction focuses on building skills in all of the intelligences, as well as incorporating a variety of intelligences in the study of multidimensional topics. The arts and the sciences are integral components of our curriculum.  

Programmes (cater for 2.5 to 12 years old)

The pioneering work of Prof. Kurt W. Fischer, PhD, Mind, Brain and Education Programme, and Prof. Howard Gardner, PhD, Project Zero, Harvard Graduate School of Education serve as the framework for our curriculum.

The philosophy of multiple intelligences asserts that every student's blend of competencies produces a unique cognitive profile for that child. Supplementing with Ministry of Education standards, students are taught fundamental academic skills that content which they then apply to multifaceted topics that integrate Language Arts, Math and Social Sciences.

We place an emphasis on leadership skills that build and demonstrate deep understanding of subjects, in contrast to rote learning. We believe that deep understanding is essential for mastery and transfer of information as students develop intellectually.

At Neumind, children are introduced to mind development programmes, daily or/and enrichment based cater for 2.5 to 6 years old and Primary 1 to 6 programmes. Fundamental to all our programmes is the belief in and promotion of creative problem solving and lateral thinking techniques.

We are committed to tapping into your children's genius while providing them with quality supervision in a safe learning environment.

Our uniquely well-structured programme offers a variety of stimulating activities to develop skills that are valued in the community and to cultivate distinctive characters.

We work with a broad range of respected scholars and industry experts who provide advice to the faculty and students. They assist with curriculum design and development, guide action research for teaching and learning and participate in professional development conferences.
