Small Cooks Big Meals (SCBM) started out in 2007 training domestic helpers how to cook. Since the growing demand from people of all walks of life has steadily increased, SCBM is now open to everyone.
If you've always wanted to learn to cook or bake but thought it was too hard or didn't know where to start, you have come to the right place. I am a certified trainer with a passion for food and with my unique style of training I believe I can train anyone to turn out delicious meals. So make 2009 the year you learn the secrets of cooking and baking and delight your family and friends with your culinary skills.
There are three courses to choose from:
Basic Cooking ~ this is for beginners who need to understand kitchen appliances and utensils, hygiene, preparation of ingredients, how to read and follow a recipe and how to cook some basic but impresive meals.
Intermediate Cooking ~ expands your culinary repetoire and teaches varies cuisines - Italian, Thai, Chinese, Western and some delectable desserts like the ever--popular Tiramisu.
Basic Baking ~ teaches you the basics of baking and covers a wide variety of treats like cakes, scones, muffins, cookies, mousse, brownies, puddings and pie!
Each course comprises 4 lessons, once a week for 4 weeks. Weekday classes start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. and Weekend classes start at 2:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.
