Tien Hsia’s curriculum is designed by experienced educators, and approved by the MOE. All classes are kept to a small teacher-to-student ratio even with the stringent segmentation of our classes. Our programmes offer a unique opportunity to improve your child’s command of both spoken and written Chinese. We constantly develop and update our syllabus in order to keep abreast of the new MOE guidelines.
Tien Hsia Language School (THLS)
For all P1 students joining us in 2006, Tien Hsia looks forward to making Chinese a "living" language for setting the foundation for a more interesting learning experience for students.
Most importantly, we shall be providing separately, the current curriculum and the new modular curriculum, in our Primary 1 Enrichment Programme. - Songs, verse/choral reading, rhymes, and recital to be used as instructional materials.

MOE New Curriculum
The Ministry of Education will pilot a new modular Chinese Language (CL) curriculum at P1 and P2 levels in 25 primary schools (see attached list) from January 2006. All other primary schools will continue to follow the current curriculum before full implementation at P1 and P2 in 2007.
