Children's Beginners & RAD Ballet Classes @ Palais Dance Studio

Founded in 1989, Palais Dance Studio is known for high standards and the good results our pupils achieve in their annual external examinations. We are a private ballet school in Singapore, offering quality ballet & dance training, in an environment that encourages learning and progress.

Lessons are conducted by our team of experienced & qualified instructors, who are Registered Teachers ( RAD RTS ) with the Royal Academy of Dance examination board in the UK. We are honoured that our Vice-Principal, Teo Ching Ching (Miss) is appointed as a RAD Ballet Examiner.

Our School offers a wide range of ballet & dance classes from children's beginner to advanced pre-professional / vocational levels. Lessons are conducted in a spacious, custom-built dance studio with wall-to-wall ballet barres & mirrors, and imported 'Aero-thrust' sprung dance floor with dance mat surface.

Besides our unique in-house Beginner Ballet programme for younger children, we offer the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet Grades, Higher Grades & Vocational Grades ballet syllabus lessons and training towards external examinations & other certification.

NEW Beginner Ballet Classes for Children ( 2011 ): We shall soon offer a NEW weekend Beginner Ballet Year 1 class for children age 4 to 6+ this calendar year. The new, entry-level class shall commence on Saturday 2 April 2011, when the next 'ballet year' commences for our school. 

Our Beginner Ballet lessons are 45 minutes in duration. Subject to response, we would like to offer a NEW weekday Beginner Ballet Year 1 class as well. Class schedule is Wednesday at 2.45 to 3.30 p.m. Please call us for more information.

Ballet School Concert : We are delighted to have celebrated our ballet school's 20th Anniversary with two performances of "Let's Dance" on 6 & 7 June 2009. More than 200 pupils from new beginners to advanced dancers performed in this special event in aid of charity. Our selected charity beneficiary is the Spastic Children's Association of Singapore.

Palais Dance Studio has mounted numerous dance concerts featuring our student dancers. Proceeds from our school concerts (1991, 1994, 2001, 2004 & 2009) were donated to charity. Selected pupils have also gained further exposure through special projects, such as being featured in a trailer on CHANNEL NEWSASIA (2000), performing in the "Barbie in the Nutcracker" Ballet (2001), and MediaCorp Channel 8 "Baby Bonanza" (2006.)
