Targeted for:- Students with little or without music background.
Programme:- Electronic Keyboard
Electronic Keyboard {Elementary}: To play some simple songs in 10 sessions. A hobby course designed to be progressive and cumulative from the Beginner?s to the Advanced level.. At each level; Practical playing, Theory of Music, Aural Training, Sight-reading skills and General Musicianship will be taught. A step by step fun & exciting program.
Theory & Performance :- Play a single line melody within a range of 2 octaves. Note values not smaller than semiquavers. Learn basic functions of the keyboard (tone registrations & rhythm). Both hands together with accompaniment of left-hand (single fingered or multi fingered). A wide varied repertoire from pop ballads, evergreens, latin, jazz etc. Basic theory of music (note identification - terms & signs etc).
Duration: 10 sessions (1 hr each)
Technical requirements: Organization/School will provide their own equipment/instruments.
Fee : Elementary - $60.00 per hour (class of 10 - 15 students)
* Classical & Popular Music Centre will provide teacher who will conduct lessons at your premises.
Programme:- Computer Music Program
Create music with a Computer & Synthesizer. Learn the musical aspects of an arrangement (Combo band-Orchestra), hands-on operation with the computer & synthesizer. Produce your own minus-one, create your own compositions & even print out the musical score. A new form of interactive learning and entertainment making the music making process simplified yet able to create more sophisticated productions.
Programme:- Pop Guitar
Pop Guitar {Elementary}: To play some simple songs in sessions. Learn some fundamental music theory ? a sufficient knowledge of guitar chords to enable playing some simple basic rhythm accompaniment. Basic playing technique (scales-finger drills etc) Strum & sing some simple tunes. A step by step fun & exciting programme.
Pop Guitar {Intermediate}: Learn scales (major & minor) to enable playing more intricate pieces of music. More guitar techniques like free-stoke, rest-stroke, hammering & pulling off. Diatonic chords with 7ths. Common chord progressions. Various rhythmic styles of guitar accompaniment. Repertoire of more popular songs.
Fee : Elementary - $60.00 per hour (class of 10- 15students)
