Parent Hour@ Centers Once a week, parents are encouraged to spend time engaged in an activity with their child. The activities could include baking, cooking, art and craft, gardening, making books together or reading to/with their child. This involvement of parents into the classroom would provide parents with a sense of confidence with the centre services, enhance their bond with their child and at the same time promote their parenting skills.
VIP: Volunteers in Partnership The VIP exists for those parents who are able to help out with centre events and activities.
Family Fun Nights In our efforts at building trust and including parents in the school community, we organise occasional Family Fun Nights. Activities would include: Picnic Dinner and Watch a Movie, Bingo Night, Spaghetti Supper, Grandparents’ Night, Book Sales and Multicultural celebrations .
