About The Studio

Dance Dynamix opened its doors for business in August 2003 by Singapore's Professional Latin Dance Champs, Sam Fong & Michelle Fong-Lim.


The studio offers ballroom dance lessons for all ages and levels. From elementary to advance or even competitive level, we assure you "There's something for everyone". At Dance Dynamix, the teachers work hard to provide students with quality instructions in ballroom dancing and they strive to make learning easy and fun for everyone.

Sam Fong (Profile)

Sam & Michelle took their first step at ballroom dancing in 1990 but with different dance partners.

Sam developed the passion for dancing immediately after his first lesson (despite being forced to attend the lesson by friends who enrolled him against his will). Over the years, as his passion and interests for dance grew stronger, he constantly felt the need to improve his dancing and decided to quit his job to dance and teach full-time.

Sam & Michelle started their partnership in 1998 and decided to dance the professionals. Their main coach is Ralf Lephene and regular teachers include Espen Salberg and Sammy Stopford. They also had lessons with Peter Townsend, Ruud Vermeij, Donnie Burns and Barbara McColl.

Qualifications:

- Associates of National Association of Teachers of Dancing
- Members of the Singapore Ballroom Dance Teachers Association.
- Licensed Professional Competitors of World Dance & Dancesport Council.
