Poi is a relatively new performance art, its origin dates back to the Maori people in New Zealand. By taking different spinning heads (fabric, glowsticks and fire wicks) it has transformed into a new form of sports, hobby, recreation and performance. Rhythmic moves blended with geometric arcs of light or fire, when dancing to the music, gives extremely fine and pleasant entertainment, while its novelty and rarity has made itself a secret art form and enjoyment that is ineffable by words.
