Training Philosophy
Dogs, like humans, have different character and personality. Hence, Playful Paws believes in balanced Eclectic training. The difference between Eclectic training and extreme trainings such as totally positive (food reward) training or totally negative (non reward) training is we use a balanced training which embraces positive motivation (genuine praise), appropriate rewards (with play) and corrections (use of appropriate training gear). Eclectic training involves the use of both positive and negative reinforcements and balancing the two factors in a way that will help the dog learn and retain the required lessons.
Courses
Puppy Kindergarten:
Learn some basic commands in 4 weeks for young puppies from 8 to 16 weeks of age such as:
- Social Walking (No pulling on lead)
- Sit
- Lie Down (Drop)
- Stay (sit & Drop)
- Recall (come when called)
- Restraint (Body examination)
- Problem solving
- Environment Conditioning
- Socialisation skill

Adult Dog Learning (Basic Obedience)

- Heel on Lead (walking by your left side)
- Social Walking (No pulling on lead)
- Sit at Heel
- Lie Down (Drop on command with hand signal)
- Stay (sit & Drop)
- Recall (come when called)
- Restraint (Body examination)
- Socialisation skill

Ideal for dogs which are as such:

- Looking into your eyes as if chanting to you to ‘feed me’ despite having fed him.
