Founded in 1949, P. Jethmal Travel was established to cater to the various travel needs of the mercantile community and general traveling public. Granted IATA accreditation in January 1950 the company has evolved from a humble sole proprietorship through various stages of partnerships and mergers into a private limited company incorporated as JETHMALCHOICE TRAVEL PTE LTD also commonly known as JetChoice Travels.
The company’s history has been marked by milestones of success and profitability. In the early 60’s the company successfully organized the first and largest ever group of 76 Catholic pilgrims on a 45-day fly-cruise-overland tour to Europe, and the first-ever official Trade Mission from Singapore to Africa. Since then the company has been entrusted with the complete travel arrangements of various trade missions and business delegations led by many dignitaries including our Prime Ministers.
