Halijah Travel was established in Singapore in 1991 by the late Hajjah Halijah A H Almunawarrah. Over the years it has won the confidence of the public, especially the Malay-Muslim community, for providing reliable and value-for-money tour & travel packages. This is reflected in the large number of regular clientele and compliments received.

A substantial portion of the company’s business is Haj and Umrah pilgrimages. Tours and travel packages to other destinations, such as Australia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, the Middle East, Uzbekistan, are also organised.

Halijah Travel clientele also includes nationalities from Malaysia, Indonesia, China and Hong Kong. Halijah Travel maintains a good working relationship with major airlines and other travel related establishments. It has also received numerous Certificates of Appreciation from a number of airlines in recognition of its substantial sales and support.

Since the demise of Hajjah Halijah, the company has been in the good hands of Hj Hussin Abdul Hamid who is assisted by a team of 12 experienced staff and 70 volunteer pilgrim officers.
