WE are temporarily interrupting our offer to you to Shop For Services so you can Shop For Fashion this weekend. It’s Singapore Fashion Festival, people — time to go out, get some sun and invest in next season’s wardrobe.

Our favourite shopping mall, Raffles City, is holding its own fashion show, called “Asia Wow,” featuring four Asean designers from Indonesia (Kiata Kwanda), Hong Kong (Kanchan Panjabi), Philippines (Jun Escario) and Singapore (Teddy Or).

All the runway clothes designed by the designers will be for sale at the trunk show on 29 and 30 March (Indiana Room, 4/L Raffles City Convention Centre). Also available will be jewelry and accessories by Atelier Avatar by Gil Carungay from Philippines, Red Island by arts@works with 7 jewelry designers from Tasmania, Zeus by Tal Cohen (men’s jewelry) and Her Glass Slipper.

The Raffles City event is by-invitation only. If you didn’t get yours in the email, buy the April issue of Elle — they have one there too.

Those who miss this weekend’s trunk show can get a second chance to see the designer clothing and accessories at Curiocity Gallery (38 Bencoolen Street) from 31 March to 5 April. But why wait that long, right?
